About the role
This internship involves conducting development activities on process equipment, collecting and analyzing data, and executing fab engineering trials. The role focuses on projects related to various semiconductor processing techniques such as Evaporation, CVD, PVD, Electroplating, plasma etch, Dry/Wet Etch, Photolithography, Wafer Dicing, and CMP.
What you'll do
- Learn and conduct development activities on process equipment.
- Collect data via various metrology tools.
- Analyze data using software such as JMP, Spotfire, or Excel.
- Perform process troubleshooting and recipe optimization.
- Design and execute a fab engineering trial.
- Work on projects involving Evaporation, CVD, PVD, thin film depositing, Electroplating, plasma etch, Dry/Wet Etch, Photolithography, Wafer Dicing, or CMP.
What you'll need
- Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related fields.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Semiconductor coursework and/or experience, including standard processing techniques (PVD, CVD, lithography, optics, dry/wet etch, CMP).
- Willingness for hands-on engineering work in a clean room facility.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
