About the role
This role involves aiding process engineers in driving process improvements, maintaining SOPs, and supporting day-to-day troubleshooting and work on the line.
What you'll do
- Develop plans for updating SOPs
- Perform data mining and analysis in Minitab
- Make conclusions and recommendations based on data analysis
- Perform yield analysis
- Participate in Gemba walks for lean and safety improvements
- Perform membrane characterization testing
What you'll need
- Data-driven and hands-on approach
- Proficient in Excel
- Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner
- Working towards a degree in chemical, mechanical, or similar engineering
- Currently enrolled student
- Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F, January through June
- Familiarity with university’s requirements to participate in a co-op program
