About the role
This Process Engineer role is responsible for primary manufacturing areas including Deposition and Photolithography for Vishay Thin Film products.
What you'll do
- Develop new or revise existing processes to improve yields, product quality, and reduce manufacturing costs.
- Develop or maintain accurate documentation/procedures for product manufacturing and monitor processes.
- Implement Statistical Process Control (SPC) to monitor, track, and control process parameters.
- Work with production and maintenance staff to identify capital equipment requirements, develop project plans, and manage implementation.
- Train production, maintenance, and other engineering personnel.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials, or Ceramic engineering.
- 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated experience with Vacuum technology, Photolithography, and Thin Film Deposition.
- High level of mechanical, electrical, and electronic aptitude.
- Microsoft Office experience.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Nice to have
- Sputtering experience is a plus.
