About the role
This is a full-time intern position for a Process Development Engineering Intern. The role involves working within an ISO 9001 and 14001 certified manufacturing facility focused on BAW filter devices, technology development, and advanced research.
What you'll do
- Extract and analyze data using tools like Databricks, Spotfire, or Excel.
- Design and execute Design of Experiments (DOEs) to improve process capabilities.
- Troubleshoot fabrication processes and optimize equipment recipes for physical vapor deposition (PVD).
- Apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques to track manufacturing limits and reduce variations.
- Collect and log process data utilizing various metrology tools.
- Create and update manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs).
What you'll need
- Currently enrolled in a BS or MS program in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or Chemistry.
- Basic understanding of common semiconductor processing technologies (such as Thin Film Deposition, Product Metrology, Photolithography, Dry/Wet Etch, Electroplating, RF Electrical Test, or Semiconductor Packaging).
- Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher.
- 9 months availability to work onsite.
