About the role
This role involves developing signal and power integrity solutions for Marvell devices at both package and system levels. It specifically addresses signal/power integrity (SI/PI) for Marvell's switch products, tailoring board and package design solutions.
What you'll do
- Develop creative power solutions for Marvell devices at package and system levels.
- Evaluate designs to ensure challenging electrical performance requirements are met.
- Collaborate with layout engineers and IP teams to optimize power delivery network (PDN) performance.
- Perform simulations, including new EDA tool evaluations, flow development, and scripting.
- Develop creative signal integrity solutions for high-speed device interfaces.
- Develop and prove solutions using electromagnetic simulation tools.
What you'll need
- BSc in Electrical Engineering and 10-15 years of related experience.
- Deep power integrity expertise with signal integrity, inductance, and capacitance knowledge.
- Strong understanding of package and board implementation limitations.
- Experience in power delivery network (PDN) design, modeling, and analysis using tools like PowerSI and SIwave.
- Deep knowledge of signal integrity concepts.
