About the role
As Principal Reliability Engineer, you will act as a lead reliability authority within Tower Semiconductor, providing expert guidance across the organization. This role focuses on developing and leading the implementation of reliability qualification plans for established platforms such as BCD and RF-SOI, as well as new process technologies such as silicon photonics.
What you'll do
- Develop and lead the implementation of reliability qualification plans.
- Serve as a technical liaison with business units to guide device development with a focus on design for reliability.
- Serve as a technical liaison with PDK and Modeling teams on topics such as aging and SOA.
- Drive continuous improvement by integrating insights and lessons learned from prior technology generations.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments.
- Analyze failures to identify potential root causes and collaborate with R&D and Fab Engineering teams to implement solutions.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the current position.
- Familiarity with semiconductor fabrication processes.
- Strong ability to work independently.
- Good communication skills.
- High level of English proficiency.
