About the role
The Principal Product Engineer will work as a core team member of the product/test engineering team to bring RF integrated solutions into high volume manufacturing. The role covers both development and sustaining activities across multiple concurrent development projects.
What you'll do
- Manage production support engineering for products transferred from design to high volume production.
- Develop production and characterization test specifications.
- Perform characterization, ATE, and probe data analysis.
- Create and manage product documentation.
- Interface with Design, Test Engineering, Quality Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to support product development.
- Drive cost reduction activities, including second sources qualification, yield enhancement, and test time reduction.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 12 years of experience, a Master's degree in EE with 8 years of experience, or a PhD with 5 years of experience.
- Strong exposure to and understanding of RF parameters.
- Strong data analysis skills to debug production and development issues.
- Experience debugging issues on ATE and bench characterization equipment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently across development and sustaining phases.
