The Principal Product Application Engineer will work on advanced SiC-based solutions.
About the role
This role involves developing and validating SiC-based solutions, collaborating with global teams, and supporting customers to drive new products to market.
What you'll do
- Design power electronics platforms using SiC technologies.
- Run and analyze testing and validation of power systems.
- Build demo systems and present solutions to customers.
- Support product go-to-market and customer design-in activities.
- Create and deliver technical presentations, training, and webinars.
- Support device testing, characterization, and modelling.
What you'll need
- M.Sc. Degree or higher in Power Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or similar.
- 5+ years in the semiconductor industry (power applications focus; WBG preferred).
- Strong experience in hardware design for SiC, GaN, and IGBT applications.
- Knowledge of thermal/mechanical design, gate driving, and inductance optimization.
- Skilled in measurements, testing, and high-voltage lab environments.
- Solid experience with PCB design, simulation, and power module design.
