About the role
This role leads a team of product definers and applications engineers for supporting DC-DC power products, defining their roadmap and architecture. The focus is on DC-DC converters for industrial and enterprise server market applications.
What you'll do
- Lead the definition and roadmap for next-gen DC-DC converter products by interfacing with customers.
- Provide technical leadership across design, validation, marketing, and field organizations for power solutions.
- Translate customer requirements into product roadmaps and technology investments for the enterprise server market.
- Define architecture and specifications in collaboration with customers, sales, and engineering teams.
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing systems & applications team focused on technical excellence.
- Perform system-level analysis for power integrity, thermal performance, and fault response.
What you'll need
- Masters/PhD in Electrical or Electronics engineering with 15+ years experience.
- Strong expertise in power electronics including DC-DC converters.
- Experience in direct interface with sales and customers to lead the product roadmap.
- Expertise in analog circuits, control theory, and feedback loop analysis.
- Hands-on experience with PCB schematics/layout and CAD tools.
- Familiarity with power integrity analysis and simulation tools (PSpice, Simplis, MATLAB).
- Skilled in lab debugging and validation techniques.
Nice to have
- Proven experience leading and developing a Systems, Applications, or Power Architecture team of 4-8 engineers.
- Experience with server/telecom power architectures.
- Experience with digital communications protocols like I2C, PMBus.
- Experience with generating collateral like datasheets, user guides and training & promotion materials.
