About the role
As a Principal Product Application Engineer, you will be responsible for the Application Strategy and Application Knowledge management for the Diodes & Transistors portfolio, providing technical support to customers.
What you'll do
- Qualify the value of Nexperia's products and quantify technical benefits.
- Take the lead for product requirements based on application insights.
- Represent Nexperia's application perspective in technical committees and standardization groups.
- Translate application expertise and customer insights into customer requirement specifications.
- Conduct product investigations and circuit analysis on an application level.
- Set up demo boards and represent the Diodes & Transistors group at trade fairs.
What you'll need
- University degree in electrical engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in the semiconductor industry or a related business.
- Proven experience within the Automotive/Industrial/Consumer Electronics environment.
- Development and Engineering experience, as well as hardware design know-how.
- Simulation and measurement know-how.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills in English.
Nice to have
- German language skills are a plus.
