About the role
What you'll do
- Collaborate on schematic, magnetics, and PCB design, simulations, and BOM management.
- Define firmware requirements of innovation features using digital controller and validate them in system.
- Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking.
- Support go-to-market activities including application notes, white papers, customer presentations, simulation models, and training materials.
- Support customer design-ins, design-wins, and resolve technical issues, including Failure Analysis.
What you'll need
- University degree in Electrical Engineering with hands-on experience in high-frequency, high-current, high-density DC/DC designs, including simulation and lab skills for switch mode power supplies.
- 8+ years of professional experience in the semiconductor industry with exposure to engineering, design, and applications.
- Extensive knowledge of high power density DCDC magnetics, simulation, and power loss estimation, including magnetics design and optimization.
- Solid background in using digital & analog controllers and drivers for power management.
- Familiarity with safety and EMI compliance standards.
- Proficiency in PCB design tools (Altium or Allegro) as well as simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, PLECS or similar).
- Excellent English skills.
