About the role
This role drives the development of breakthrough memory technologies from pathfinding through productization. It involves guiding cross-functional execution across device, array, process, and design engineering.
What you'll do
- Define and drive technology development strategy, key milestones, and cross-functional execution.
- Assess memory performance and reliability, analyzing electrical data to understand behavior, performance tradeoffs, and failure mechanisms.
- Develop and enhance characterization methodologies and wafer-level test techniques for emerging memory technologies.
- Provide technical updates to executive leadership on program status, risks, and technology decisions.
- Mentor senior engineers and future team members.
What you'll need
- PhD or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field with 12+ years of industry experience.
- Experience in electrical characterization and development of emerging memory technologies such as SOM, PCRAM, MRAM, FeRAM or ReRAM.
- Proven track record of bringing emerging memory technologies from early development through qualification and volume production.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor device physics, reliability, and failure mechanisms.
- Ability to translate complex technical findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
Nice to have
- Demonstrated track record of innovation through patents, publications, and contributions to intellectual property portfolio.
- Strong scripting, data analysis, test development, and automation skills.
