About the role
This role involves the design of innovative, high-performance, highly profitable analog and mixed-signal ICs for precision analog and power management applications targeted toward Space markets, including 40V to 100V DC-DC switching converters, LDOs, and multi-function power management circuits.
What you'll do
- Participate in product definition with marketing, applications, and customers.
- Apply understanding of power process technologies to design power management products.
- Perform transistor level design of mixed-signal circuits for power management products.
- Manage programs to achieve schedule objectives.
- Validate and debug products before transferring to production engineering.
- Interface with process, test, product, application, and marketing teams to bring new products from concept to production.
What you'll need
- In-depth understanding of integrated analog circuit design.
- Thorough understanding of bipolar, BiCMOS, and BCD process technologies and circuit design techniques.
- Thorough understanding of large power transistor (bipolar and DMOS) design, layout, and robustness.
- Thorough understanding of various switch-mode power conversion topologies (BOOST & BUCK, various control methods, multiple-phase current sharing).
- Experience with Cadence tools for analog design and mixed signal simulations.
- Experience with behavioral top-level modeling and mixed signal verification methodology.
- Experience with analog/digital interfaces and digital buses.
- MSEE with 10+ years or PhD with 8+ years or BSEE with 15+ years of relevant industry experience in analog design with successfully released Power Management products.
