About the role
This role involves product/part ownership from starting substrate through wafer test, including sustaining, disposition, troubleshooting, yield enhancement, and new product introduction.
What you'll do
- Introduce new products into manufacturing by working with Product Engineering teams.
- Drive yield and cost benefits through process integration enhancements, defect reduction, and product performance improvements.
- Monitor electrical device operation to ensure conformance to quality standards and engineering specifications.
- Lead and support cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing efficiencies and product quality.
- Contain and resolve factory excursions and customer returns.
- Provide innovative, real-time solutions to operational issues while maintaining quality.
What you'll need
- BS degree in Electrical or Chemical engineering or a similar science-based degree.
- Experience in semiconductor device physics and process integration.
- Experience in Design of Experiments and Statistical Process Control.
- Working knowledge of Excel, JMP, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong data analysis skills.
Nice to have
- MS degree.
- Experience in a device or process engineering capacity or similar technical experience.
