Texas Instruments is seeking an Engineering Section Manager to join the DM6 team.
About the role
As the second-highest level engineering position in the factory, this role reports to the Engineering Branch Manager, overseeing and providing leadership to lower-level engineering managers and supervisors within the DMOS6 engineering section.
What you'll do
- Oversee the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of manufacturing methods, processes, and operations for new and existing products. - Ensure the effective use of materials, equipment, and personnel in producing quality products at minimum costs. - Act as liaison with engineering in releasing new products. - Develop systems to maintain reports and record keeping of company products. - Develop and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree Electrical Engineering, Electrical Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Chemistry, Physics or related engineering degree. - 5+ years of experience within a Semiconductor Fab. - 3+ years of experience building, developing, and leading an engineering team.
