About the role
In the role of Principal CAD Engineer/Manager, you will lead the development and building of CAD tools and methodologies for memory and semiconductor technologies.
What you'll do
- Lead the building and development of advanced CAD tools and methodologies. - Collaborate with multi-functional teams to implement and integrate CAD solutions. - Determine and establish CAD build standards and guidelines. - Mentor and guide engineers across technical projects. - Benchmark internal capabilities against industry standards to evaluate performance. - Coordinate the maintenance and improvement of existing CAD tools.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. - Proven experience in CAD tool development and management. - Strong knowledge of semiconductor build and processes. - Proficiency in programming languages including Python and C++.
Nice to have
- Experience managing CAD projects from concept through implementation. - Experience with commonly used CAD tools and software in the semiconductor industry. - Experience with DRAM or NAND device development. - A track record of mentoring and developing early-career engineers.
