About the role
This role involves designing, developing, and testing power semiconductor modules and semiconductor technologies.
What you'll do
- Develop power semiconductor modules and semiconductor technologies in cross-site interdisciplinary teams
- Plan and carry out the electrical and thermal characterization of the semiconductor devices and modules
- Evaluate and analyze data, and present results for decision-making on technical topics
- Trigger and track the creation, commissioning, and testing of prototypes up to the start of series production
- Create, review, and approve data sheets and test specifications
- Prepare technical reports
What you'll need
- University degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Experience in electronics product development and electrical engineering
- Sound knowledge of power electronics / semiconductor components IGBT, MOSFET and diodes
- Experience in the field of electrical and thermal measurement technology, as well as statistical test planning
- Familiarity with software for scientific data evaluation
- Strong English language skills
