This role involves loading wafers into production equipment, verifying product specifications, monitoring equipment operation, and ensuring process efficiency in a manufacturing environment.
What you'll do
- Load wafers into production equipment.
- Verify product specifications against equipment settings.
- Monitor equipment operation and process pace/productivity.
- Determine strategies for processing wafers through tools, including tool changeovers.
- Make minor corrections to processes and equipment, escalating when a technician or engineer is needed.
- Perform production processes according to documented specifications and schedules, utilizing computer systems.
What you'll need
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to work a 12-hour compressed shift in a clean room environment.
- Ability to carry a pod of wafers that weigh 15 pounds throughout the full shift of work.
- Ability to frequently climb 4-5 stair steps while carrying a wafer pod throughout the full work shift.
- Attention to detail and computer knowledge.
- Ability to multitask and manage a large volume of activity.
Nice to have
- Prior semiconductor experience.
- Stable work history.
