About the role
AMD is hiring a PMTS Software Development Engineer to develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Buildkite, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins. You will contribute to major components of CI platforms while guiding a group of individual contributors.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Buildkite, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins to ensure reliable software delivery.
- Contribute to core components of CI platforms and guide a group of individual contributors.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple component teams to modernize developer workflows.
- Contribute to adjacent open-source projects, taking leadership roles within them as needed.
- Apply engineering principles, best practices, and knowledge of processors and electronic equipment to the design, development, and testing of proprietary products.
What you'll need
- Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field with 5 years of experience (or a Bachelor’s degree with 7 years of progressive experience).
- 5 years of experience with software verification in Unix or Linux environments.
- 5 years of experience programming in C, C++, Perl, and Python.
- 5 years of experience with Linux or Windows internals, multi-threading, object oriented design, and data structures.
- 5 years of experience with Git, open source software development, SQL, and MS SQL server.
- 5 years of experience with Cloud technologies including AWS, Azure, or GCP, as well as machine-learning workflows.
