About the role

This role combines algorithm research and development with participation in 3GPP 6G standardization activities. You will work within the Modem Technologies research team focused on physical-layer communication technologies and wireless systems.

What you'll do

• Research, design, and develop physical-layer communication and signal-processing algorithms.
• Evaluate new concepts through analysis, simulation, and performance assessment.
• Contribute to research activities targeting wireless and 6G communication systems.
• Participate in 3GPP standardization activities and contribute to the development of wireless standards.
• Collaborate with researchers and engineers across multidisciplinary teams.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 3 years of experience in physical-layer communication algorithms and/or signal-processing development, or M.Sc./Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field with specialization in communications or signal processing.
• Experience evaluating communication concepts through analysis, simulation, and performance assessment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to independently explore complex technical problems.
