Photolithography Equipment Engineer (SM1)
About the role
Texas Instruments is seeking a Photolithography Equipment Engineer to study reliability, oversee maintenance, and optimize manufacturing equipment performance.
What you'll do
- Oversee the installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
- Study equipment performance reliability, drive cost of ownership, and define preventative maintenance schedules.
- Work directly with equipment vendors to sustain and enhance tool performance.
- Compile and evaluate data to determine limits, variables for equipment specifications, and uptime solutions.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering teams.
- Manage continuous improvement projects addressing safety, quality, equipment availability, and efficiency.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related engineering field.
- 2 years of relevant experience working as an Equipment Engineer in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
Nice to have
- Equipment experience with photolithography tools such as TEL Lithius, ASML Twinscan, AMAT Verity SEM, KLA Archer, or Brooks Reticle Stockers.
- Equipment experience with photolithography support equipment, including Cymer lasers and chemical distribution systems.
- Experience with tool monitoring and interdiction software, equipment maintenance, and documentation.
- Working knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, SPC techniques, and semiconductor cleanroom protocols.
