About the role
This role involves comprehensive PCB layout and extensive knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes to address problems with fabrication and assembly houses. This position focuses on forward-thinking designs for the Aerospace and Defense (ADEF) business, specifically in Data-Converters, Radio Frequency (RF), and Micro-Electro Mechanical Systems (MEMS).
What you'll do
- Layout complex high-frequency PCBs.
- Conduct peer and design reviews for PCB designs.
- Participate in a ticket system for assigning jobs and reporting job status.
- Design dense and complex PCBs with various component types and board fabrication technologies.
- Emphasize RF signal requirements in PCB designs.
What you'll need
- 3+ years' experience.
- Associate Degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent.
- PCB design skills including RF and mixed signal/material/technology.
- PCB fabrication process knowledge.
- Working knowledge of IPC standards.
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.
Nice to have
- Proficiency with Cadence Allegro.
- Experience with other CAD tools.
- Knowledge of JIRA agile management system.
