About the role
This internship focuses on contributing to Intel's semiconductor manufacturing processes by performing electrical measurements (Etest) on chips mid-process within the wafer factory, providing feedback for process development and monitoring transistor technologies.
What you'll do
- Configure and build queries to pull and summarize Etest data.
- Design, execute, and analyze experiments to drive improved tool matching.
- Work with equipment suppliers to identify shortcomings and develop solutions.
- Collaborate with other Intel test sites to drive test quality and sustaining excellence.
What you'll need
- Currently pursuing a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Engineering, or a related specialized field.
- 3+ months of experience in electrical circuitry fundamentals.
- 3+ months of experience in instrument design, test system development, or design validation.
- 3+ months of experience with data summarization and data analysis techniques.
Nice to have
- Experience with device or circuit design, or electronic test equipment.
- Familiarity with Python, LabVIEW, or other programming for instrument control.
- Understanding of hardware troubleshooting methodologies.
