About the role
This role involves the complete design process for optomechanical systems, from requirements to manufacturing release. You will contribute to advancing reticle inspection solutions for semiconductor manufacturing.
What you'll do
- Drive design from beginning to end, including requirements specification, feasibility studies, conceptual and detailed design, build, and release to manufacturing.
- Develop and track cost and schedule for design projects.
- Generate detailed models and drawings using 3D solid modeling (Creo).
- Conduct various analyses, such as fluid, thermal, and vibrational, through both hand calculations and FEA modeling.
- Understand and use Geometric Tolerancing (GD&T) and perform detailed tolerance stack-up analysis.
- Procure, assemble, and test prototype material, and support system integration and testing.
What you'll need
- Master's Level Degree and 0 years related work experience; or Bachelor's Level Degree and 2 years related work experience.
- Experience with low stress and high stability optomechanical design and precision mechanism design.
- Experience designing for ultra-clean environments, including in vacuum.
- Experience with precision stage and actuation/adjustment design.
