About the role

This role involves inspecting optics visually and mechanically, supporting processes and product development, and fabricating advanced optical components for semiconductor photolithography machines.

What you'll do

• Work safely on fragile, high value optics and various types of optical materials.
• Accurately manufacture and supply ASML products according to specification statements.
• Make improvements to existing products and processes, and guide the implementation of new products and processes.
• Provide visual surface inspection of all optical components to meet standards.
• Maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.

What you'll need

• High School or Trade School graduate or G.E.D.
• Intermediate mathematical skills including use of basic math, geometry and trigonometry.
• Intermediate computer skills and familiarity with Windows 7, MS Office & SAP.
• Excellent visual acuity skills.
• Proven ability to follow written and verbal English work instructions.
• Strong blueprint interpretation skills.

Nice to have

• Prior optical inspection / fabrication experience.
• Familiarity with micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, height gages.
• Familiarity with CMM, Angle Tool, Wedge and Optical run-out measurements.
