The Test Manager II supervises employees across production and operation functions, including assembly, inspection, test, and final test for semiconductor capital equipment and subsystems.
What you'll do
- Supervise production and operation functions for capital equipment, systems, electronic, mechanical, and electro-mechanical components and subassemblies. - Prioritize production schedules based on available manpower, equipment efficiency, capacity, and materials requirements. - Track organizational performance metrics, conduct milestone meetings, and meet or improve cycle time performance. - Oversee compliance with Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) training, safety policies, and accident prevention procedures. - Manage personnel development, goal setting, coaching, hiring, performance management, and corrective actions. - Support capacity optimization plans, track real-time status data, and drive Lean, safety, and quality process improvements.
What you'll need
- Supervisory experience managing employees, setting priorities, and coaching teams to meet daily operational deadlines. - Experience prioritizing production schedules, equipment efficiency, capacity, and materials requirements. - Background tracking operational performance metrics and driving cycle time performance improvements. - Experience with Lean manufacturing concepts, quality improvement initiatives, and cost of quality analysis. - Ability to work in a clean room environment and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including respirators, hoods, and cleanroom garments. - Ability to work night shifts and handle physical requirements including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting, and working around noise and tight spaces.
