About the role
As an Operations Efficiency Technician I in the Advanced Purity Solutions division, you will maintain the day-to-day effectiveness of a specific Value Stream by following standard work. This is a 2nd shift position working 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.
What you'll do
- Perform daily pre-production walkthroughs in the assigned Value Stream, verifying assembly kits are complete, monitoring floor stock inventory, and assisting in the routing, closure, and completion of work orders.
- Create "Build Books" of systems prior to assembly as applicable.
- Print all drawings related to the project, verify redlines on drawings, report and document issues, and coordinate with the Value Stream Manufacturing Engineer.
- Execute specified functions of 6S responsibilities, specifically sort, set in order, shine, sustain, and safety.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment while delivering accuracy and consistency in assembly and inventory support.
What you'll need
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience with an MRP OS.
- Computer proficiency with data input and the MS Operating Platform.
- Ability to perform visual checks and handle material responsibly.
- Physical ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs daily, climb ladders, and remain on your feet for extended periods.
- Dependability and flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Nice to have
- An associate degree or extended learning courses.
- Previous warehousing experience.
