$89,010 - $146,440 USD yearly
About the role
As a Device Integration Engineer at Intel Corporation, you will drive the fabrication factory to produce transistor and discrete electronic devices that perform according to strictly defined specifications.
What you'll do
- Collaborate with Module, Integration, and Yield engineers to execute process modifications meeting quality, reliability, cost, yield, and performance requirements.
- Control initial quality metrics at the end-of-line (EOL) to screen and disposition material prior to sort and class testing, performing root-cause analysis on discrepant device performance.
- Improve quality, reliability, cost, and yield through a continuous feedback loop addressing targeting, variability reduction, and containment of poorly performing line segments.
- Develop solutions to technical problems using solid-state physics, statistics, and formal problem-solving methodologies.
- Engage with senior leaders across product engineering, assembly test, and technology development teams to identify and implement process improvements.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's of Science in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Material Science, or a related STEM field with 2+ years of relevant experience in the semiconductor industry, OR a Master's of Science in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Material Science, or related STEM field.
- Experience with solid-state physics and statistical methodologies applied to device performance.
- Experience identifying and executing technical process improvement opportunities within semiconductor manufacturing.
Nice to have
- Understanding of device physics, semiconductor processing, failure analysis techniques, statistical process control, and DOE techniques.
- Basic coding and scripting ability in JSL, SAS, or Python, with experience in data extraction and statistical software packages such as JMP or Minitab.
- Understanding of FEOL and/or BEOL manufacturing processes.
- Experience in semiconductor process integration, yield engineering, process development, or technology development.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis methods including DOE, SPC, Cp/Cpk analysis, and root-cause methodologies.
- Experience supporting technology qualification, manufacturing ramp, and high-volume production.
- Familiarity with machine learning tools applied to process and device analysis.
Skills: device integration, yield improvement, device physics, FEOL, DOE, SPC

How we counted: 252 open Process Integration (Process Integration) roles from 42 employers tracked in the SemiconductorJobs index, counted 5 Nov 2026. Specialty figures count only roles carrying this exact specialty label, so an employer's related work in neighbouring specialties is not included there — it is counted in the wider Process, Fab & Equipment family row.
