About the role
This role involves optimizing and maintaining defect metrology systems for development and manufacturing within Intel Foundry, with a focus on improving yield learning cycles using advanced real-time monitoring.
What you'll do
- Perform statistical analysis and develop visualizations for process development roadmaps.
- Develop methods and systems to analyze diverse big data sources, leading to yield modeling.
- Develop and maintain systems for faster interpretation of fab process, defect, and electrical data.
- Apply statistics, machine learning, and coding techniques to extract insights from large data volumes.
- Transform experimental and manufacturing data into yield improvement actions.
- Develop AI/ML applications to improve patterning solutions and design efficiency.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree with 2+ years in Engineering or Science disciplines OR Master's degree or higher.
- Experience with software coding (Python, C#/.NET, HTML, JavaScript) with an emphasis in ML/AI.
- Experience with statistical analysis and analytical methods.
- Experience in application of domain knowledge to curate analysis-ready datasets.
- 1+ years of experience in an advanced manufacturing environment (semiconductor device fabrication, packaging, assembly, aerospace, pharmaceuticals).
- Working knowledge of source control tools (Git).
- SQL proficiency (intermediate or better).
- 2+ years of experience maintaining and troubleshooting manufacturing automation systems.
Nice to have
- Experience in technical documentation, training, and project management.
