About the role
This role focuses on sustaining and optimizing chemical and gas metrology systems in semiconductor manufacturing operations. You will specifically support ICP-MS instruments within the Bulk Chemical Delivery (BCD) area.
What you'll do
- Provide operations support for chemical and gas systems and associated metrology equipment, focusing on operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Understand Bulk Chemical Delivery systems and equipment operations.
- Pull and prepare samples from various types of equipment, including blenders, CDMs, and bulk systems.
- Work with engineering and vendors to maintain analytical equipment in BCD areas, including overseeing vendor maintenance activities, PMs, and repairs.
- Operate and become proficient on the Agilent 8900 ICP-MS to run bottle samples for troubleshooting or characterization.
What you'll need
- Associate’s degree in STEM related field with 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of analytical chemistry laboratory functions and instrumentation.
- Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking to analyze and resolve technical challenges.
- Relevant experience maintaining and operating chemical systems.
Nice to have
- Experience with analytical chemistry techniques, including sample preparation and analysis.
- Hands-on knowledge of analytical instruments such as Agilent ICP-MS instruments, including operation and maintenance.
