About the role
This role involves planning activities related to production control, inventory control, and Material Resources Planning (MRP) integrity, ensuring timely material availability for manufacturing and engineering.
What you'll do
- Maintain SAP production order release schedules to ensure on-time material delivery.
- Perform pre-shortage analysis to increase component availability at the time of release.
- Review MRP execution, reconcile supply and demand, and validate master scheduling.
- Manage materials affected by engineering change orders (ECOs) and ensure proper disposition.
- Work with Finance to resolve Work In Process (WIP) issues and audit WIP physical inventory.
- Analyze usage data and stock levels for inventory control and expedite shortages.
What you'll need
- Expertise in production control, inventory control, process control, and Material Resources Planning (MRP).
- Experience with SAP production order release schedules.
- Ability to perform pre-shortage analysis.
- Knowledge of reconciling supply and demand and validating master scheduling.
- Experience with Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
- Familiarity with resolving Work In Process (WIP) issues and auditing WIP physical inventory.
