This role involves managing an engineering team, projects, and programs, ensuring the completion of activities such as resource planning and viability studies.
What you'll do
- Lead engineering team, projects, and programs in area of responsibility.
- Ensure all assigned projects and programs are completed according to requirements, specifications, costs, resource utilization, and timelines.
- Document all phases of project, program, and/or process development and disseminate information to other functional areas.
- Establish departmental budgets and spending requirements, ensuring effective utilization of material and financial resources.
- Assign work to subordinate staff, providing professional development and coaching.
- Spearhead research and development of new manufacturing technologies and incorporate new processes, designs, and/or methodologies into Applied Materials products/services.
