About the role
This intern role focuses on the design and characterization of advanced RF and mm-wave System in Package within the High Performance Analog business group, System & Research team.
What you'll do
- Assist with design and characterization of advanced RF and mm-wave System in Package
- Perform 3D modeling, electromagnetic and thermal analysis, schematic generation and simulation
- Conduct lab measurements, data collection, and report generation
- Contribute design schematics, simulations, and real lab data as a team member
- Use signal generators, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and power meters to compare simulated data to lab data
What you'll need
- MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering
- Familiarity with Si and III/V technologies, RFIC and MMIC design, and advance packaging fundamentals
- Completed RF or Microwave design coursework
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
Nice to have
- Exposure to RF measurement equipment such as spectrum analyzers and network analyzers
- Software exposure to Keysight ADS, EMPro, Ansys HFSS, Workbench, and Cadence
