Mixed Signal Electronic Design Engineer IC – Senior
Develop millimeter wave circuits for coherent applications using SiGe and silicon-based processes operating above 30GHz.
About the role
This role involves developing millimeter wave circuits for coherent applications from concept through to productization. The work focuses on architecting, designing, laying out, measuring, and productizing SiGe and silicon-based ICs operating at frequencies above 30GHz.
What you'll do
- Take an IC from initial concept through to full productization.
- Architect, execute schematic design, handle layout, and perform hands-on laboratory characterization of high-frequency ICs.
- Manage projects, support customers, and collaborate directly with test and application engineers.
- Support products through the entire product development and release cycle.
What you'll need
- B.S. plus 8 years, M.S. plus 6 years, or Ph.D. plus 2 years of IC design experience.
- Design experience with 30+ Gbps transimpedance amplifiers, AGC, and linear modulator drivers.
- Deep understanding of RF CMOS or SiGe IC design alongside analog design fundamentals.
- Proven track record of mmWave, RF, and analog integrated circuit design at frequencies above 30GHz.
- Expert knowledge of Cadence schematic design and layout.
- Hands-on laboratory product characterization skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with E&M modelling tools (ADS, HFSS, Sonnet, etc.).
- Team leadership experience.
