This role involves project management of materials for New Product Introduction (NPI) within the supply chain, focusing on coordinating product development and managing material strategies.
What you'll do
- Forecast and communicate engineering, materials, and manufacturing requirements to suppliers.
- Lead Materials Core Team and coordinate product development process deliverables.
- Create, release, and update new project materials strategy.
- Assist in supplier price and delivery negotiations and complete supplier risk assessment.
- Coordinate activities around source selection, specification creation, and price negotiation.
- Manage materials change control process, meet cost objectives, and resolve quality issues.

- Depth and/or breadth of expertise in a specialized discipline or field.
- Ability to interpret internal/external business challenges and recommend best practices.
- Experience leading functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity.
