About the role
This role supports warehouse operations by moving materials, supporting manufacturing, transferring and storing goods, and assisting with utility, shipping, and picking activities.
What you'll do
- Produce, package, and prepare products for shipment.
- Receive raw material and containers using fork trucks and hand trucks.
- Perform data entry and record keeping.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Participate in continuous improvement teams and activities.
- Comply with plant safety initiatives.
- Perform miscellaneous production and warehouse related tasks including cycle count, housekeeping, inventory, and incident investigation.
What you'll need
- Knowledge of manufacturing equipment and materials handling.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SAP, Lotus Notes, and ERP systems data entry.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Manual lifting capability of up to 40 lbs.
Nice to have
- Associate degree in a technical field.
- 2 to 3 years of production or warehousing experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Standup Forklift driving experience.
- Manufacturing experience.
- Relative industry experience.
