About the role
As a Manufacturing Technician, you will work hands-on in a cleanroom environment to build, repair, and test display and wafer fabrication equipment.
What you'll do
- Use work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, parts lists, and instructions to build, repair, and test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies and subassemblies. - Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting, and repairs under moderate supervision. - Receive parts, inspect for defects, perform audits to verify inventory availability, and assist in process improvements. - Use test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps to test assemblies and components. - Complete job documentation, data entry for progress and labor details, and perform software installs or repairs as needed.
What you'll need
- High school diploma. - 1–2 years of semiconductor or display experience, or comparable industry or military experience. - Ability to follow written and verbal standard operation procedures. - Knowledge of basic hand tools.
Nice to have
- Associate’s degree, technical education, certifications, or trainings (such as ASSEET or BSEET). - Experience working with established scientific methods or operational processes.
