About the role
As a Manufacturing Technician, you will work hands-on in a cleanroom environment to build and test display and wafer fabrication equipment.
What you'll do
- Use work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, parts lists, and instructions to build, repair, and test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies, and components.
- Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting, and repairs under moderate supervision.
- Receive parts, perform audits to ensure all necessary parts are available, inspect parts for defects, and troubleshoot processes.
- Test assemblies, subassemblies, and components using test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps.
- Complete required job documentation for progress, work expenses, and labor details, and perform computer programming, repairs, or software installs as needed.
What you'll need
- A high school diploma.
- 1–2 years of semiconductor or display experience, or comparable industry or military experience.
- Ability to follow written and verbal standard operation procedures.
- Knowledge of basic hand tools.
Nice to have
- An Associate’s degree or technical education, certifications, or trainings.
- ASSEET.
- BSEET (DeVry, TSTC).
