About the role
As a Manufacturing Technician, you will work hands-on in a cleanroom environment to build and test display and wafer fabrication equipment. This role involves working with electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies, and components.
What you'll do
- Use work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, and parts lists to build, repair, and test equipment.
- Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting, and repairs under moderate supervision.
- Receive and audit parts, inspect them for defects, and troubleshoot processes.
- Test assemblies, subassemblies, and components using test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps.
- Complete required job documentation, perform computer programming, repair, or software installs as needed.
What you'll need
- A high school diploma.
- 1–2 years of semiconductor or display experience, or comparable industry or military experience.
- Ability to follow standard operation procedures (written and verbal).
- Knowledge of basic hand tools.
Nice to have
- An Associate’s degree or technical education, certifications or trainings.
- A willingness to expand skills within an analytical/scientific method or operational process.
- Solid analytical skills and ability to problem-solve using established operating procedures or scientific methods.
- ASSEET or BSEET (DeVry, TSTC).
