About the role
As a Manufacturing Technician, you will work hands-on in a cleanroom environment to build and test display and wafer fabrication equipment.
What you'll do
- Utilize work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, and instructions to build, repair, and test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies, and components.
- Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Observe all safety standards, maintain a secure, safe, clean, and healthy work environment, and report safety hazards.
- Utilize test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps to test assemblies, subassemblies, and components.
- Enter data on a computer terminal, perform computer programming, repair, or software tasks.
- Detail finished work, receive parts, perform audits to ensure parts availability, and inspect parts for defects.
What you'll need
- Experience working hands-on in a cleanroom environment.
- Ability to build, repair, and test various types of equipment, including electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies, and components.
- Experience performing electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Ability to perform audits to ensure necessary parts are available and inspected for defects.
- Proficiency using test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps.
- Developed analytical skills and application of scientific methods.
