About the role
This role is for a Manufacturing Technician on the visual inspection and sort team within the semiconductor DieFab facility in Santa Rosa, California. You will operate manual sort equipment to prepare integrated circuits for cleaning and evaluate the final integrity of production and development circuits.
What you'll do
- Operate manual sort equipment to place integrated circuits onto tape for cleaning and back into a wafflepack. - Operate a high-powered microscope using product-specific guidelines to assess chip quality prior to shipment. - Maintain strict adherence to quality standards for integrated circuits and diodes. - Work independently within a team environment to achieve area manufacturing goals. - Undergo training tailored to existing knowledge and acquire new fabrication skills.
What you'll need
- Experience in integrated circuit fabrication processing, including sorting or visual inspection. - Experience performing detailed inspections under a microscope to identify small imperfections in intricate patterns. - Proficiency in visual inspection at 50x, 100x, and 600x magnifications. - Ability to work in an ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) room environment. - Demonstrated skill in handling and processing delicate and small materials. - Capability to raise operational concerns through a standardized chain of command.
