About the role
This role involves working hands-on in a cleanroom environment to build and test wafer fabrication equipment. You will be responsible for building, repairing, and testing various types of electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies, and components.
What you'll do
- Build, repair, and test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies, and components using work orders, schematics, and instructions.
- Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Utilize test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and/or vacuum pumps to test assemblies, subassemblies, and components.
- Enter data on computer terminal, such as progress, work expense, and labor details.
- Perform audits to ensure all necessary parts are available and inspected for defects.
- Troubleshoot and improve processes, including performing computer programming, repair, or software installs.
What you'll need
- Experience working in a cleanroom environment.
- Ability to build, repair, and test wafer fabrication equipment.
- Experience with electro-mechanical assembly operations.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and identifying errors.
- Ability to use test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and/or vacuum pumps.
- Experience with inspecting parts for defects and performing audits.
