About the role
As a Manufacturing Engineer Tech 4, you will partner with Manufacturing Engineering, Design Engineering, Marketing, and Quality to manufacture prototypes and tooling to support current and future MKS products.
What you'll do
- Plan, lay out, set up, operate, and make tool adjustments for a variety of conventional or automatic machines.
- Work from blueprints, process sheets, and sketches to perform production tasks including cutting and shaping metal to precision dimensions.
- Check and inspect machining operations against specified tolerances.
- Identify and repair minor machine malfunctions.
What you'll need
- 6+ years of related experience.
- Machine shop experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of higher mathematics involved in the application of engineering principles and the performance of related operations.
- Completion of a formal apprenticeship program.
Nice to have
- CNC Programming experience (MasterCAM or similar).
