About the role
Responsible for maintaining the day-to-day effectiveness of a specific Value Stream by following the Standard Work for the position in the Advanced Purity Solutions division. This role supports technicians, processes, and work cells on the 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM).
What you'll do
- Perform daily pre-production walk-throughs across the assigned Value Stream to verify assembly kit completeness, check floor stock inventory, and assist in routing, closure, and completion of work orders.
- Create Build Books of the systems prior to assembly when applicable.
- Print project drawings, verify redlines, report and document issues, and coordinate with the Value Stream Manufacturing Engineer.
- Execute specified 6S functions, including sort, set in order, shine, sustain, and safety.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment while delivering accuracy and consistency in assembly support tasks.
What you'll need
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience with MRP operating systems.
- Computer proficiency including data input and Microsoft operating platforms.
- Ability to perform visual checks, lift or move up to 40 lbs daily, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends to support production needs.
Nice to have
- AS degree or extended learning course.
- Previous warehousing experience.
