About the role
This position is responsible for performing tasks related to producing components used in Ultra High Purity Systems within the Advanced Purity Solutions Division. You will fabricate stainless-steel components per engineering specifications using vertical bandsaws, CNC cold cut saws, porta band saws, roto bur tools, files, tube facing tools, and wash tanks.
What you'll do
- Work from instructions, drawings, and lists of various tube diameters and lengths with supervision.
- Use SAP to print drawings and tube cut lists.
- Cut and clean tubing and weld fittings while maintaining shop cleanliness.
- Follow engineering specifications to produce accurate products through routine, repetitive operations and processes.
- Complete 6S responsibilities, including sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain, and safety.
- Learn proper measuring techniques, tool use, care, and quality standards.
What you'll need
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 0-2 years of experience in cutting, de-burring, and cleaning tubing and fittings.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs daily and remain on your feet for extended periods of time.
- Ability to learn navigation through an ERP system to find drawings and instructions.
- Dependability and flexibility to work overtime and weekends to support business needs.
