About the role
This role leads the development and ongoing technical management of the business unit's product line, applying scientific theory to complex process engineering challenges.
What you'll do
- Lead practical applications of scientific theory and complex processes in the development and technical management of the unit's product line. - Lead research, development, and implementation for new products and extensions to the existing product line. - Interact directly with key customers to resolve complex process engineering issues and address customer High Value Problems (HVP). - Direct alpha engineering programs for all process technology related issues across the unit's product line. - Manage alpha and beta product releases for the business unit's product line. - Participate in strategic planning to integrate research and development processes with the business unit and Product Business Group plans, including identifying and selecting vendors and suppliers.
What you'll need
- Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary project teams or initiatives. - Proven track record resolving complex process engineering issues directly with customers. - Experience managing alpha engineering programs and beta product releases for a product line. - Strong negotiation and technical alignment experience with senior management, customers, and vendors.
