What you'll do
- Direct a process technology group responsible for research, development, and implementation in new products and existing product lines. - Manage complex practical applications of scientific theory and processes across product technical management. - Lead the alpha engineering program and drive alpha and beta product releases for the business unit's product line. - Provide solutions to address external customers' high value problems (HVP) involving the business unit's product line. - Participate in strategic planning to integrate R&D processes with the Product Business Group's overall business plan. - Guide reporting process technology managers in long-term process development strategy and establish organizational performance metrics.
What you'll need
- Broad and comprehensive understanding of different systems, theories, and practices in process technology. - Demonstrated experience leading through subordinate managers of managers and executing functional business plans. - Industry and commercial awareness applied to operational performance across a business unit or department. - Experience resolving complex process technology and business issues using advanced analytical judgment. - Proven ability to negotiate and influence opinions at the senior executive level and with external customer organizations.
