About the role
The Manager III, Customer Engineer (M3) manages customer engineers, system installation activities, and customer relationships across their assigned district.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain customer relationships through regular visits across all relevant organizational levels in the district.
- Manage, coach, and direct customer engineers, overseeing career planning, salary planning, performance appraisals, and hours tracking.
- Oversee system installation planning, reporting, and execution, including pre-facility meetings, start-up meetings, and process support identification.
- Lead account planning alongside the District Sales Engineer, delivering support plans for system sales, financial forecasting, and district cost efficiency.
- Serve as the primary district interface with Product Divisions for technical support, training, spares, and reliability.
- Manage the RMA procedure, monitor escalation procedures, and oversee the CSD Award and mentor programs.
What you'll need
- Experience managing customer engineers or technical service personnel within established policies and management guidance.
- Hands-on experience directing system installation planning, execution, and customer support plans.
- Experience managing RMA procedures, district financial forecasting, and cost efficiency metrics.
- Background conducting presentations of technical information concerning specific projects or schedules.
