About the role
Supervises employees involved in production and operation functions, including assembly, inspection, and test, for manufacturing semiconductor capital equipment, systems, subassemblies, and subsystems.
What you'll do
- Prioritize production schedules based on available manpower, equipment efficiency, capacity, and materials requirements. - Supervise personnel across assembly, inspection, and test functions related to electro-mechanical components and capital equipment manufacturing. - Track organizational performance metrics, conduct milestone meetings, and meet or improve cycle time performance. - Interface with customers and vendors to address operational issues, analyze cost of quality opportunities, and initiate corrective actions. - Support production capacity optimization and implement processes to collect, analyze, and report real-time status data. - Drive Lean, Safety, and Quality initiatives while managing personnel development, performance reviews, and Environmental, Health and Safety compliance.
What you'll need
- Understanding and application of operational procedures and concepts within manufacturing and production operations. - Supervisory experience setting daily priorities, coaching employees, and managing employee performance. - Experience with capacity optimization, production scheduling, and monitoring equipment efficiency. - Experience driving Lean manufacturing principles, quality improvements, and safety compliance.
