About the role
This role involves supervising employees across various production and operation functions related to the manufacturing of capital equipment and systems, electronic, mechanical, electro-mechanical, and/or components, subassemblies, and subsystems. The scope includes prioritizing production schedules and ensuring timely response to operational issues that impact customer satisfaction.
What you'll do
- Supervise employees in production and operations functions such including assembly, inspection, and test.
- Prioritize production schedules based on manpower, equipment efficiency, capacity, and materials requirements.
- Track organization performance metrics and manage cycle time performance.
- Ensure timely response to operations issues and conformance to customer/vendor requirements.
- Oversee the prevention of employee accidents and injuries, ensuring compliance with safety policies.
- Develop personnel through training, career development, and performance management.
- Analyze and plan for maximum production capacity optimization.
- Identify process and quality changes to improve manufacturing capabilities and drive Lean, Safety, and Quality initiatives.
